Hello!
I am originally from California and graduated from California State University San Bernardino with a Bachelor's in Liberal Studies and a Minor in Human Development. After receiving my Bachelor's degree, I continued my education at National University where I received my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. My family and I moved to Colorado in 2015 and this will be my 5th year teaching (give or take a couple years of substitute teaching), but my first year teaching 4th grade!
I am married (to Scott) and have a 4 1/2 year old son (James) and a 1 1/2 year old son (Ethan). I am extremely close to my mother and sister, who I consider to be my very best friends. In my spare time I enjoy exercising (my husband and I have done Mud runs, 5k's, and completed a 1/2 marathon), spending time with my family, exploring new areas in Colorado, and completing DIY projects in our new home! I am an avid "Pinterester" and enjoy searching for creative activities for both my students and my kids. I truly have a passion for teaching, and love building relationships and getting to know each and every one of my AMAZING students. |
